What to expect

There is nothing your baby needs to do to be ready. Sessions are paced to support regulation, allowing change to unfold naturally.

Overview Of How Sessions Typically Unfold

Being There Is Enough

Preparing For Your Baby’s Session

Preparing For Your Baby’s Session

You are not expected to “do” anything during the session other than be with your baby in the way that feels most natural to you.

Parents often notice that sessions offer a quieter space to observe their baby’s cues and rhythms.

I may share observations or invite gentle participation, but there is no requirement to perform or intervene.

Preparing For Your Baby’s Session

Sessions take place in your home, where your baby is already familiar with their surroundings. Before our first visit, I may ask a few questions about your baby’s birth, feeding, sleep, and current concerns.

There is no need to prepare your space in any special way for the visit.

Babies are welcome to feed, sleep, cry, move, or pause at any time during the session. There is no expectation for them to be calm or still.

What Sessions Feel Like

Preparing For Your Baby’s Session

What Sessions Feel Like

Sessions unfold slowly and responsively.

I follow your baby’s cues and work at their pace, using light, attentive touch.

Sessions often take place with your baby in your arms, on a pillow, or resting where they are most comfortable. Parents are always present and involved. Contact is minimal and responsive, and nothing is forced or rushed.

Your baby may respond in many ways— resting, moving, feeding, vocalizing, or becoming more alert. All responses are welcome and guide the session.

What Sessions Feel Like

Babies may respond in different ways after a session, and all responses are within the range of normal.

After a session, babies may show changes in rest, movement, feeding, or alertness, or they may simply return to their usual patterns. There is no expected or “correct” response.

I encourage families to observe gently over the next day or two without trying to interpret or manage outcomes. Support continues to unfold over time, not all at once.

Follow-Up Support

After The Session

Follow-Up Support

There is no obligation to continue.

Some families schedule a single session, while others choose a short series depending on their baby’s needs and circumstances. We can discuss what feels appropriate after the initial visit.

Recommendations are made collaboratively, based on your baby’s responses and capacity over time.

After The Session

Follow-Up Support

Whether your baby needs extra support or you simply want to support comfort, regulation, and development from the beginning, it would be a privilege to support your family.
